Katrina M. Olsen, PLS
Owner, President & Land Surveyor

Ms. Olsen began working with McPheeters & Associates upon graduation from CSU Fresno. She started at an entry level position and worked her way up through the company, ultimately purchasing the business in January of 2010. Her duties have ranged from office manager to field crew supervisor. Office manager duties include staffing, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, estimating, contact negotiation, research, calculations and drafting. Ms. Olsen has performed and administered many types of field surveying work including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction surveys. She has been the Project Manager on over 200 projects for the City of Clovis during the past decade and just recently was the Project Manager on a dam seismic retrofit project providing monitoring and quantity surveys.

William K. Anderson, PLS
Vice President & Land Surveyor

Mr. Anderson has been with McPheeters & Associates in 1973. He has extensive experience in the performance and supervision of all types of surveying work. His boundary survey projects ranged in scope from simple lot surveys to complicated retracements and in size from small residential sites to retracement of complete townships. Construction surveys varied from the control and staking required for small commercial sites to that of large public-works projects. Topographic surveys included pre-engineering and ALTA surveys for a variety of projects. Mr. Anderson also served as President of Associated Valley Surveyor in 1977 & 78 administering through personal supervision construction surveys associated with the Helms Pumped Storage Project and related structures. He also lectured on both a part-time and full-time basis in Civil and Surveying Engineering at California State University, Fresno from 1975 through 1999.

Walter V. Thomas, PLS
Land Surveyor

Mr. Thomas has worked for McPheeters & Associates since June 2011. Before working with McPheeters & Associates, he spent 26 years in all aspects of surveying in the San Joaquin Valley; 6 years in private subdivision development, and 1 year working for the cities of Sanger, Kerman and San Joaquin doing public works inspection. As a surveyor, his skills include boundary solutions, construction staking, site topography, monitoring well projects with GEO Tracker standards, FEMA elevation, flood studies, and cell site acquisition surveys. He is certified in Flood Plane Management. Mr. Thomas is affiliated with the San Joaquin Valley Chapter of the California Land Surveyors Association.

Louis Del Carlo
Survey Technician and Draftsman

Mr. Del Carlo has been working at McPheeters & Associates for three years. He previously worked with Rabe Engineering for 27 years performing surveying and drafting. Mr. Del Carlo has experience with topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, boundary surveys and construction staking and drafting with MicroSurvey including volumetric calculations. He has MSHA safety training for surface mining and CPR training. Mr. Del Carlo is a member of the San Joaquin Valley Chapter of California Land Surveyors Association.

Daniel T. Moore
Survey Technician

Mr. Moore began surveying at McPheeters & Associates in March 2011. Prior to employment with McPheeters & Associates, he surveyed with Rabe Engineering for seven years. Mr. Moore is a member of the San Joaquin Valley Chapter of California Land Surveyors Association. He has CPR and First Aid training, and MSHA safety training for surface mining.

Mr. Pickard started working at McPheeters & Associates in September 2011. He is a current student of geomatics engineering at CSU Fresno.
